Aseeda for you !

I would like to thank you all, for your lovely words of congratulation for my first baby niece ( no name yet ! ) , and because I am too generous that I think words are not enough to show my thankfulness, so I decided to serve you the picture of this traditional sweet delicious dish which we use to serve in these occasions for our congratulators.

it is the usual Asseda, sure all of you know, but just garnished in a slightly different way.

I would prefer it with butter and honey, instead of olive oil and rub (rub is a syrup extracted from dates).
I will be grateful if every one of you let me know how he/she would prefer it, so I can serve you well.
and if there are other ways to serve it apart from the two I mentioned, I would like to know it.
thanx in advance

Nice first time I see 3seeda looks like emm flower?! Really creative :o)

For me I only eat mom's 3seeda CUZ she improved the recipe lol she adds crushed nuts whatever available (almonds, walnuts, pine nuts whatever), in addition to a sprinkle of coriander "kusber” and caraway “kerwea" mix and she also combines the white flour with a little bit of wheat flour so it comes out YUMMO, I prefer that cuz it has something other than just white flour :o).. I’d say more healthy and nourishing!

It's like THE BEST 3seeda EVER ;o) hey next time mama in town I'll invite you for it.. and yah my favourite is with Butter & Rubb .. Ughh I'll kill for some right now!

Salam Auntie Englightened Spirit,

Well I'm the only person on the planet that doesn't seem to know what Asseda is, but from the picture and the comments it must be something to die for---at least for Maysoon's mother's version. :-)

Sis, let us serve you some tasty asseda so you can enjoy every minute with your precious niece.

I agree with Youma about your Asseda. The picture indicates that you are a good cook.
